The Nail Atelier /uh·teh·lee·ay/  is a small nail studio located inside Papillion Lash and Brow Studio in Winter Park, Florida.  Solo nail artist, Mai specializes in gel application and bespoke nail art. Sessions are one on one and appointment based. She is available for editorial, commercial work, workshops and demos.

About

The Nail Atelier was born in October of 2017 when owner, Mai wanted to marry both her passion of beauty and photography together.

A graduate of the University of Michigan Penny Stamps School of Art and Design where she experimented in photography and graphic design, she would later find her love in visual storytelling through portrait and content photography.

Her beauty background stems from growing up in the salon business leading her to use her knowledge to provide advice consulting those looking to revamp their salon marketing, venturing into the salon sphere, and training current nail artists on dry manicure techniques and bespoke nail art.

Nail art designs are tailored for the individual. Be prepared to walk out of your session and have mini masterpieces that will be a conversation starter. This service should be scheduled every 3 weeks,

Wanna try some nail art but just on a few fingers? This is the perfect add-on option for anyone new to the nail art game. Prices vary depending on the intricacy of art.

The Nail Atelier Classic Gel Pedicure
Get your toes in the best shape with The Nail Atelier Classic Gel Pedicure. After detailed cuticle and nail shaping, heels and legs are scrubbed and exfoliated before a single, solid color gel polish is applied. No need to wait for toes nails to dry, you can put your shoes on right after and walk out the door. Only those with health toenails and feet should schedule this service. Recommended to schedule every 6 to 8 weeks. At-home maintenance is needed in-between salon visits.

APRES Gel-X (extensions)
Looking for instant length gratification? The Apres Gel-X system is your answer. These light-weight gel based extensions is the best option for those looking to alternate between extensions and gel manicures. Get them for an event and come back 3 weeks later and transition back to your natural nails with a gel manicure.

Product Removal
This service is reserved for existing clientele. New clients must have bare and healthy nails when scheduling an appointment. Please have previous product removed to show your natural nails. If nails are damaged, you will be asked to wait until your nails are healthy to schedule an appointment.

Hours

The Nail Atelier in located in the heart of Winter Park. Please make sure to factor in traffic and parking time when coming into your appointment.

A non-refundable deposit is required when booking and will go towards your service the day of. Cancellations or rescheduling must be made 48 hours in advance otherwise a late cancellation fee will be imposed.

Frequent cancellations and rescheduling will result in the inability to book any future appointments. 

*After Hours appointments are available for an additional fee.
